#2 Arlington West Memorial
Sunday September 7th 7:30am-5pm in Huntington Beach

This Sunday, we will again be setting up the Arlington West display
on the sands of Huntington Beach. We hope we can have your help.
We are still deployed and fighting in Afghanistan in America's
longest war, so there will be another Arlington West in Huntington
Beach. Please help if you can but if your schedule doesn't permit
that please consider coming by to visit if that's possible.
Weather forecast is great: calling for clear skies and a high
about 82. While polls show public opinion turning sharply
against our continued deployment in Afghanistan and America's
longest ever war, and our President having committed to
"another 10 years", we need to maintain our efforts to keep
visible the costs and to support our veterans. Our continuing
efforts to remind the public of the cost of our wars and to
"bring Our Troops Home" must continue. Come help or just visit.
Volunteers meet at the beach (6th st. north of the pier) at
7:30AM to help unload the trailer and setup the crosses and other
material, and/or come by 5:00PM to help take it down and put it away.
